This was converted to a ring from an antique Art Deco brooch. The top part and gallery is platinum and the shank I believe is 14k white gold (possible it’s platinum as well but pretty sure it’s white gold). Size 5 and can be easily resized. This emerald has very few fractures but does have some yellow oxidation seen on the backside. Still mainly transparent and gorgeous! Nothing like a large Colombian emerald. Note there is a small part of the platinum setting that has a knick - the stone is secure in the setting but to fix it would need to be taken out and so decided it was not very noticeable so I left it. The 4 sapphires are a pretty bluish/purple color which complements the turquoise stone really well. Surrounded by a halo of Turquoise stones. This antique Georgian ring is a stunning piece of history, crafted with exquisite attention to detail. The half hoop design is complemented by a beautiful burgundy red-colored foiled almandine garnet and smaller garnet stones, all set in 9-10 yellow gold. It is a 2.014 AGS 000 J SI1 stone and is an incredible sparkler!
