It’s a little unnatural, I would change it a little bit to say “Why did you choose Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu when there are so many other martial arts out there?”

It's grammatically correct but it sounds a little bit aggressive to me. A little bit like you don't approve of their decision to do Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instead of a different martial art.
I would change it to:
"What made you choose Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu out of all the other martial arts?"
This sounds a little more curious, like you want to know about the person and why they chose Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
